Tourist attractions in Indonesia

Recently I received some tips regarding destinations in Indonesia so I will add Lombok and Flores to my “destinos em agenda” and we keep the faith that soon we will get there and visit East Timor.

The mountains of East Java are home to the ancient healing art of Jamu. The ancient art of jamu has been embedded in Indonesian life for centuries.

Standing at 2,239m Indonesia’s iconic Mt. Bromo is just an hour’s drive from the Seloliman Nature Reserve and half a day’s travel from Surabaya. Travellers tend to make their base at the scenic hamlet of Cemoro Lawang which is dotted with alpine-type hotels and B&Bs. Make the pre-dawn trek (by jeep or on foot) to witness Java’s most spectacular sunrise. You can also take a horse ride across a desert-like plain to reach the 250 steps leading to the thunderous crater west of the peak, which emits a contant plume of sulphur.

The Greates Bird of paradise (Cendrawasih Bird) is the largest member in the genus Paradisaea, with males measuring up to 43cm. The female is smaller, at only 35cm. The plumage of this species is also sexually dimorphic. The male has an iridescent green face and a yellow glossed with silver iridescence crown, head and nape.

Visit Malaysia!

Tourism Ranking World Destinations

In 2015 my neighbour country, Spain got the first place in The World Tourism Ranking taking France off the podium after many years. My home country, Portugal came in the 15th position and Malaysia in the 25th. Let’s find out why! Malaysia is a land of friendly people and a nation blessed with natural wonders. With 4,800km of coastline, Malaysia boasts some of the most beautiful islands and beaches of Asia. Langkawi, Penang, Pangkor, Port Dickson just to mention a few out of many greatest destinations in Malaysia. George Town and Penang Island are worth 3 days minimum.

One of my favourite Asian attraction - The Canapy Walk

The Canapy Walk at the Rainforest. The Hill, George Town, Penang, Malaysia. Best spot in George Town.

The Hill Penang. Top attraction in Asia.
Vietnamese coffee is the best worldwide but expresso coffee is quite difficult to get in Asia. At David Brown’s I had the best in Asia as well as the best view.

Malaysia offers a diverse culture, different eco-friendly regions with eco-lodges at affordable prices and great transport connections. For families with kids, nature lovers and solo travellers, Malaysia invites you to visit it all year round. Be aware that even though very warm it also runs quite a bit which can actually make the tours of great fun and refreshing!!! The airports in Kuala Lumpur offers many domestic trips as already mentioned such as the big island of Penang and its colonial city of George Town, UNESCO World Heritage Sites and the Archaeological Heritage of the Lenggong Valley. Natural sites are also listed: Gurung Mulu Natural Park and Kinabalu Park. Have a look at the pictures and start planning the journey.

I made it and would go there again. It's worth every single ringgit.

Go green, go to Malaysia! I love it here! At the Hill, George Town, Penang.

Saving you time, street art in George Town is spread and you should do a research using Facebook or using other sources such as Google. You have to walk around a lot to see it but it’s worth. The one I’m sharing is one of several I have found at The UNESCO Route, close to my accommodation the Rope Walk Guest House in Jalan Pintal Tali

Regarding Airlines and prices, I like to use Skyscanner, which filters all companies by price, timetable, and duration. It’s up to you to pick the one that suits your needs. is also the best for accommodation unless you prefer to deal directly with international chains for Luxury hotels and resorts. Five-star hotels can be found at the cost of 75 Euro per night in Kuala Lumpur but there are also a few at the price of 225 EUR! Usually I do enjoy reading TripAdvisor reviews, asking for advice and leave my contribution of the tours I took, hotels I’ve experienced and restaurant but in general, it is the best Website to search for attractions and all. I also reply on Quora, Flipboard and Pinterest.

One of my favourite international hotel chains

As an agent of this International Hotel Chain, I still vote it as the best one. See the locations such as Myanmar. Marriott takes good care of agents and costumers.

Atlantic Emotions shares information and tips for the best tours and brands according to personal and professional experience as mentioned before. Malaysian capital events are also a good reason to stop by. The Sea Games in Kuala Lumpur is one of the greatest things about the city and a good start point as there daily flights everywhere from its International Airport (KLIA) meaning a great opportunity to visit Hong Kong, the tea plantations of Yunnan, Indonesia, Borneo, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodja, Australia and Japan. Sounds good to me, setting close to the International Airport in Kuala Lumpur, book Asia Airlines low cost and travel. The new KLIA 2, situated about 1.5 km away from the main terminal of KLIA, is the world’s largest purpose-built terminal dedicated to low-cost carriers. Malaysia Airlines has a global network that spans six continents. According to many Malaysia in the best country to live in but Thailand it’s probably the easiest to get settled and I adore to live there. What do you say?! # 5 top sorts of tourism

Sorts of tourism

Tourism is not just a holiday. Not at all! Tourism involves everyone that spends at least, or more than 24 hours outside his/her residence for leisure, business, religious practice or/and to solve health issues…

If for some travelling means lying on the beach doing nothing or playing with the kids, or other 3 intensive days in Paris going after museums or cabarets, Paris would certainly be a paradise. La Rue de Saint Dinis it’s a must-see.

Eco Tourism attractions in Mexico, Costa Rica, Malaysia, Thailand and China to mention just a few also move billions of people. There are tons of volunteer programs which allows you to discover destinations. But, don’t pay for it. Volunteers should be rewarded for their contribution. Do not pay any fees.

Unesco World heritage offers Cultural Tourism in Italy, Turkey, Portugal, China, Mexico, Japan and they are a great sort of inspiration. The list is fortunately long and we will discuss the topic.

Spain, a TOP touristic destination in 2016 is well known for religious tourism. The pilgrims take their way in “Camino de Santiago” all year round. Barcelona hosts tourists for art & culture as well as food markets and coffee shop terraces. The city is always full of business travellers and it can be hard to get accommodation unless you’re willing to pay.

Religious Tourism in Spain, France (Lourde) and Vaticano City.

Even though tourism is usually associated with holiday the truth is that it is much more than that. Business Tourism makes people travel to international events, etc.

We had a long way to make Medical Tourism (I met many tourists in Thailand travelling with this purpose) ranks for one of the TOP SORTS OF TOURISM! Thailand is fantastic and I know from my own experience.

Airlines are competitive now…

Yes, we are all after entertainment, great adventures, culture, religious trails, events and business conferences, trade events. The thing is that for most of us travelling is a must and for much others an obligation.

Despite all the facts we take advantage of what destinations have to offer and usually, we do not need to be too curious to move a few miles and discover the most amazing attractions just next door. Inspiring locations and loads of reasons to travel await for you in the following blogs. Please, follow it. It means the 🌎 to me! Thank you, all of you, reading me!
